At the beginning of the year we reached out to Creators on MyMiniFactory and Only-Games, and challenged them to come up with a 3D model of UK Games Expo’s new Official Mascot: The Baby Dragon, and boy did they deliver.
We had some truly fantastic entries, each reflecting the charm and style of their Creators, but of course there can only be one winner…
Following a vote from Creators and the MyMiniFactory team, the top 5 entries were sent to the UK Games Expo team and their community of gamers, roleplayers, and miniature enthusiasts. They set about picking their favorite, which was no easy feat. Well, the votes are back and we are very happy to announce that the winner of this year's UKGE Design Competition is….
1st Place: Meeple Dragon by Printed Obsession!
This cheerful baby dragon perfectly encapsulates the fun and whimsy of UKGE, just don’t let the baby near your copy of Carcassonne, they might start hoarding all your Meeples!
10,000 printed models of the Meeple Dragon will be given away at the show by members of the MyMiniFactory team at the Two Thin Coats painting station and stand.
