To celebrate this and to give something back to the community, we will be producing over 10,000 models to give out to the attendees of the convention for free over the whole weekend!

What will the model be, I hear you ask? Well, that’s where YOU come in.

MyMiniFactory & UKGE are providing you the opportunity to submit a 3D Design for a miniature, based on the new addition to the UK Games Expo Official Mascot: The Baby Dragon.

Last year, UKGE saw an attendance of over 30,000! This is a huge opportunity to share your brand and 1,000s of prints of your model to the perfect audience…

Enter the UKGE Miniature Design competition in three simple steps!

Step 1: Create your 3D design. Miniature must be able to fit within our standard clamshell packaging: 55mm x 45mm x 30mm

Step 2: Upload your STL and renders of the design to Shop3D

Step 3: Share your Shop3D product link* via any "Submit Your Entry" button on this page and follow the instructions on the form

It’s as simple as that, get sculpting and let's see those baby dragons!

It’s a very loose brief, and we want to see how you would interpret the Baby dragon in YOUR style, is it Grimdark, Chibi, High Fantasy, Cyberpunk?

To make your sculpt feasible for batch manufacturing, designs should be around 32mm in scale.

Once we have the entries, the UK Games Expo Team will let their community choose the entry they would like to see produced as a physical miniature.

Once an entry has been chosen, the Only-Games team will make sure that it is viable for production, and when ready we will fire up the printers and produce 10,000 copies of your miniature.

UK Games Expo (UKGE) is the largest Tabletop Games Convention in the UK - where all aspects of the tabletop gaming hobby are represented under one roof.

As proud sponsors of this event, we will be able to distribute 10,000 prints of your miniature. Your branding will be on the packaging and promotional material, giving you some serious exposure.

Once the competition ends on February 29th:

All marketing will begin in May and during the event (31 May - 2 June 2024)

1st place

Event promotions

· The live event is Fri, 31 May – Sun, 2 June 2024

· We will produce 10,000 models of the winner’s entry. Your brand will appear on the front of packaging and Only-Games branding on the back

· Models will be shared for free at UKGE with attendees around the event

· Models will be promoted on flyers around the event

· Models will be shared at the painting station of our stand and on a banner (five table, six seats per table) with a raffle

· Models will be showcased at Two Thin Coats’ stand at UKGE

· 20% sale from mid-May to mid-June. We take the margin on the sale, code will last for one month

· This UKGE Design Competition winner sale will be promoted on 2 x homepage banners and in 2 x newsletters (at the start and end of the sale)

VOTING

Voting will be open to creators for one week from when the competition ends and will be through a Google Survey or similar with a duration of 1 week. Each creator gets 1 vote. This voting will be displayed publicly.

Only-Games Voting criteria will be based on:

· Overall volume of the model

· Support Tree placement

· Time to print

· Build plate

Top entries will get points from 1 - 10 from creator voting and from Only-Games voting.

Any ties will be further scrutinised following the above criteria by the Only-Games team.The top 5 entries from creator and Only-Games voting will then be sent to the UK Games Expo Marketing team to run a vote to their community for final selection.

Held at the NEC in Birmingham on the weekend of May 31st to June 2nd 2024, UK Games Expo (UKGE) is the largest Hobby Games Convention in the UK. First held in 2007 the event is now held annually at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham and currently hosts over 52,000 guests.
