Putrid abominations from the depths below even the Underground itself. These creatures are rumoured to have once been Dwarves or Drow themselves, but have been twisted beyond all recognition into abominations that feast on whatever carrion falls into their abodes from above. Though they are small and bony, they are tenacious creatures that especially deadly in packs, with razor sharp crooked teeth that can gnaw through bone effortlessly. It’s fortunate they are as easy to slay as a common rat.

With the Rupture forcing many from their dens in the deep, they have begun prowling through Dwarven mines and tunnels through new opened paths. Those unfortunate enough to be near are consumed alive, and already many of these mines have been turned into new dens for the troggs, who find that hunting in packs is a more favourable way to gather their food than simply waiting for morsels to fall from above.
