The surrounding torches along the walls begin to sputter as the snowy ground beneath your feet starts to tremble in a rhythmic beat that feels as if a horse is galloping nearby and then straight towards the training grounds, but the rumble is still far too big to be that of a horse… The beat of the gallop grows heavier, closer, until the frozen ground itself vibrates. Something huge approaches, a massive shape crashes headlong into the grounds' fence, and crashes inward. Four thick, muscular, and clawed limbs are driving through the wall as the wood logs that protected the campgrounds are pushed in with brutal force as if the best siege weapon has just laid waste to the fence.
Its scales gleam like polished ice, each plate catching the firelight. The Drake, in all its fearsome, majestic stature, rears up and slams back down; the impact shakes the campground, the quake rattles you to the bone. It's bellow rolls outward low and deep, reverberating through its chest louder and heavier than any war drum you’ve ever stood beside. Though you steel your resolve and raise your weapon, your adrenaline surges and your legs tremble, not from fear alone, but from the presence of a beast that does not need wings to dominate the area around it.
