Frida, Iron-Seeking Communicator walks with the pilgrimage by allowance rather than kinship. She is marked by the sacred blight and permitted among the Pilgrims of the Blighted Devotion, yet he does not dissolve into their procession. Her place is adjacent, defined by purpose. She listens when the words are given, but he does not echo them. What binds him to the march is not belonging, but alignment of direction.

The disease has claimed his body as it claims all bodies here, but she does not interpret it aloud. The blight is present, undeniable, eating slowly into flesh already burdened by weight and recoil. In war, the Iron-Seeking Communicator separates from the mass and moves with intent. Heavy weapons are steadied against shoulders already numbed by pain. He studies machines as others study scripture, reading angles, seams, and distances. Where the pilgrimage advances by inevitability, he advances by selection, choosing the moment when steel is most exposed and faith in armour is thinnest.

Among the Pilgrims, she is regarded with quiet acceptance. He is not asked to lead prayer, nor to share in confession. Her role is understood: to unmake what flesh cannot endure. When she falls, there will be no recall and no marker beyond the silence she leaves behind. Her purpose ends where the iron ends.
