She sits in the tall grass, the world around her silent and alert. She gently carries her young in her mouth, her teeth just grazing its soft fur. For a moment, she seems almost peaceful, until a crackling sound in the distance makes her muscles tense. Anyone who approaches will learn that her care is deadly.
Pose:
A seated Displacer Beast carrying a youngster in its mouth.
Displacer Beasts are feared hunters, but also protective parents. Their six legs and illusory powers make them dangerous opponents, but they also show moments of care. This model shows a rare image: a mother carrying her young.
