Cockatrice, Charging

Strange creatures of myth and folklore, the Cockatrice is feared for its speed, aggression, and the unsettling curse many believe they carry. Part rooster, part serpent, these monsters are often found guarding ruins, forests, and forgotten settlements where their nests lie hidden.

I've sculpted this pose to capture the Cockatrice in a low, aggressive charge, wings half-spread as it lunges toward its prey. Its serpentine tail lashes behind it while its claws dig forward into the ground, giving the model a sense of explosive movement. The pose feels like the instant before impact, when adventurers suddenly realize the creature is far faster than its strange form suggests.

Dynamic and full of motion, this model makes an excellent centerpiece for an ambush encounter or a creature sprinting across the battlefield toward unsuspecting heroes.
