Warm Orange is the classic sun-bleached sand tone every basing kit ends up needing — landing beaches, lost deserts and North African battlefields all start here. This fine acrylic ground texture goes down straight from the pot in the correct grain and scale, drying hard and ready to paint, wash and drybrush to match your scheme. A versatile warm earth for any dry terrain.
At a glance
- Acrylic ground texture from Vallejo's Diorama FX range
- Warm orange sand tone
- Fine 0.1–1mm grain
- Ready to use — apply with a spatula or old brush
Best for
- Deserts, beaches and dry, warm terrain
- WWII North Africa and Pacific-theatre bases
- Scale-realistic sand across most base sizes
Lay it down, let it cure, then give it a sandy wash and light drybrush — the fine grain reads instantly as sun-baked ground.
The go-to warm sand for desert and beach bases. Pairs perfectly with Vallejo water textures and Terrain Fixer for a complete shoreline scene.
