Green Grey is a muted, cool green with a grey undertone — an easygoing tone for uniforms, foliage, weathered cloth and any green that should look drab and natural rather than vivid. A handy neutral from Vallejo's Model Color range.
At a glance
- Type: acrylic, from the Vallejo Model Color range
- Finish: matt and opaque
- Volume: 17ml dropper bottle
- Use: brush painting miniatures and scale models; airbrush-ready when thinned
Best for
- Drab uniforms and military cloth
- Muted foliage and weathered green
- Smooth, self-levelling coats with minimal brushstrokes
Use it as a naturalistic green base and highlight with a warmer green for cloth and foliage that reads believable, not lurid.
The drab green that keeps things natural. Pair it with a dark green shade and a warm highlight.
