It is believed that knucklebones is perhaps one of the oldest games in history. This game involves using bits of ankle bone in dexterity games, which are now commonly known as jacks. Over time, the game evolved to include bits of bone that resemble the dice we know today. For a while, I have been experimenting with these knucklebone dice in my own games, and I have decided that it's time to share them with you all. These dice have four states: a blank side, a single slash, a double slash, and a potentially standing-on-end side. I plan to create a document outlining the basic rules for the combat system I use and will also work on compiling the remaining rules for the basic skirmish game.
The dice shown are painted with acrylics then a brown and black wash. A quick coating of varnish might be an idea as well.
Available in Grey or White Resin and the sale is for 1 single dice. Just add multiples to your cart to create the set you need.
