A living altar is the most grotesque expression of the crimson fruit’s corruption. This immense, mutated humanoid thing – if it can be called that, lumbers forward, spreading its sickening disease wherever it goes. Its back a grotesque landscape of its own; grafted onto its flesh is a large shrine, around which budding crimson fruit trees twist and writhe like living things.
