In the cursed city teetering on the edge of damnation, a mother and her twin boys found themselves ensnared in the grip of terror. Aelia, once a formidable ranger who had roamed the wilds with unmatched skill, now wielded her bow not in the serene forests she loved, but in the burning streets of her beleaguered home. Her twin boys, Lyam and Kian, clung to her legs, their wide eyes reflecting the infernal flames that consumed their city.

Aelia had sought refuge in a half-ruined building, the crumbling walls offering scant protection from the devils that prowled the streets.
