Coated in symbiotic armor and fused with derelict relics dredged from the sea-floor, it is a mass of shifting sinew, blade-like claws, and unrelenting malice.

These assassins are deployed when the Devourers want something utterly gone — not merely dead, but erased. Through a warpfold in space, the Shade Operative manifests behind enemy lines, where it erupts from black water or shadow with a burst of abyssal heat.

It cannot be reasoned with, nor commanded. It knows only one litany — murder.
