Acrylics drying too fast to blend? Vallejo Drying Retarder buys you time. Add a few drops to your paint and it slows the drying, keeping the surface workable for longer — ideal for wet blending, smooth gradients and stopping paint tacking up on the palette or in an airbrush.
At a glance
- Type: acrylic drying retarder (medium)
- Slows drying to extend working time
- For brush and airbrush use
- Part of the Vallejo auxiliary range
Best for
- Wet blending and smooth gradients
- Keeping paint flowing in the airbrush
A few drops is all it takes to turn a fast-drying acrylic into something you can push around and blend at your own pace.
More time to blend, less paint wasted. Pairs with a wet palette and your favourite airbrush thinner.
