It is also the most cumbersome; it only squeezes an acceleration of 7.7mc from all ten its VN001960 engines. Six of these provide the thrust, while the outer four give the carrier the bulk of its 92 MEU manoeuvrability. It makes up for this lack of speed with an impressive 9600TXq shield grid and a Armour integrity Capacity of 2800TXq, the same levels of protection as the Sookat Natii Drav Attack Battleship. Twenty point-defence lazer emplacements can put up to 5880TXq of output into any approach, completing the defences.\r\u003cbr\u003e\r\u003cbr\u003eThe Vest Bost’s two hangar bays can hold up to four squadrons of fighters, most typically two squadrons of FS 12 Sosok fighters and two of DL(D) 04 Yolk fighter-bombers.\r\u003cbr\u003e\r\u003cbr\u003eThe Vele Bost’s anti-ship armaments are limited. Four XF-4 railgun turrets provided all-round coverage. The Vele Bost’s spinal particle beam has a peak output of around 4000TXq and is still a substantial danger to enemy craft, though alone only to lighter vessels.
