A sturdy escort vessel in the middle of its projected life-cycle, the Yriliol is a workhorse vessel, neither badly flawed nor technically brilliant.\r\u003cbr\u003e\r\u003cbr\u003eThe Yriliol’s extensive point-defence weapons rate it at 600 on the Xygritt’s scale, and it is well-shielded for a vessel of its size and class. It carries six particle beam turrets, though like many Matriarchy vessels, the fire arcs to the rear are limited.\r\u003cbr\u003e\r\u003cbr\u003eThe Yriliol is nominally intended to be replaced by the Goulonat Defence Cruiser in most aspects. The Goulonat doesn’t not have quite as much point-defence power as two Yriliols (38% less), but it has better protection than the combined vessels and also has a power ECM array, which the Yriliols lack.
